Rocker Doherty arrêté en possession de drogue
Le chanteur,
Pete Doherty a été arrêté jeudi et compagnie d'un autre homme.
Après un entretien avec un juge, il a été conduit en prison et restera 2 ans en probation.
S'ajoute à cette peine un retrait de permis de 6 mois.
 
Neil Young anti-Bush militant !
Le chanteur,
Neil Young a enregistré un nouvel album, en seulement 3 jours, pour montrer son opposition à la guerre en Irak.
"Living With The War" comporte une chanson intitulée "Impeach The President".
Le musicien a déclaré sur son site : "I just finished a new record, a power trio with trumpet and 100 voices. Metal folk protest? It's called 'Living With The War'".
 
Tom Petty et les Heartbreakers : tournée Américaine l'été prochain
Le groupe
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers fait une tournée Nord Américaine, qui débutera le 9 juin de Charlotte.
Au programme, les hits du groupe telles que "Learning to Fly", "I Won't Back Down" ou "Runnin' Down a Dream", mais aussi des nouveautés, dont "Saving Grace" et "Big Weekend".

A noter que Tom Petty sortira un album solo intitulé "Highway Companion" à la même période.

Rufio est de retour
Selon "Absolute Punk",
Rufio s'est re-formé. Le groupe est composé du guitariste & chanteur Scott Sellers, du guitariste Clark Domae, du batteur Nathan Warker et du bassiste Alex Lewis (ex-Yellowcard).
Cette nouvelle carrière débutera par une tournée en Amérique du Sud.

Poison : le film
Selon Blabbermouth,
Le leader du groupe Poison, Bret Michaels, qui bosse sur "20 Years of Rock Tour", (annoncé le mois prochain), sera concerné, fin 2006, par un film inspiré de sa vie.
Il a déclaré : "I've been working on this for two years. It's a true dramedy, and we're going to start shooting after I finish the 20th anniversary of POISON tour.
I'm not going to play the star. I'm going to play the personal assistant who watches this guy's life. When people see what I wrote they'll see it's like nothing else out there. It's a combination of funny and real and sad and hilarious."
