Noodles, guitariste d'Offspring a déclaré : "The stuff we've done right now is kind of all across the board, from the fast melodic punk stuff to some tongue-in-cheek, humorous, more fun stuff. We have about five or six songs that may or may not make it on. By the time we start doing more, a lot of times the last songs written and recorded are the ones that make up the bulk of the record. I know that at least a few of them will probably end up on the record, but who knows."   Pink Floyd se reforme !!! Vous ne révez pas, Pink Floyd devrait prochainement se reformer pour un concert au festival "Live 8" prévu à New York le 2 juillet. Après un quart de siècle, Roger Waters, Dave Gilmour, Nick Mason et Richard Wright remontent sur scène. La dernière prestation du groupe remonte à 1981, ou il avait fait un concert au Earl's Court de Londres. Gilmour a déclaré au sujet de cette réunion : "Like most people I want to do everything I can to persuade the G8 leaders to make huge commitments to the relief of poverty and increased aid to the third world. Any squabbles Roger and the band have had in the past are so petty in this context, and if reforming for this concert will help focus attention then it's got to be worthwhile." Pink Floyd se retrouvera aux cotés de Madonna, REM, U2, Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John, Coldplay et Robbie Williams. Rendez-vous à Hyde Park devant plus de 75 000 fans. + d'informations sur www.live8live.com.   Velvet Revolver écourte sa tournée Européenne Le groupe Velvet Revolver a annulé 5 concert qu'il avait prévu en Europe. Aucune explication n'a été fournie sur ce changement. Selon une source proche, Scott Weiland n'aurait pas retouché à la drogue... A noter que Velvet Revolver figure sur la BO du film "Fantastic Four", avec la chanson "Come On Come In". Dans les bacs le 5 juillet.   Skynyrd est souffrant Le groupe Sudiste, Lynyrd Skynyrd avait prévu une tournée cet été. Mais un problème de santé touchant le chanteur Johnny Van Zant oblige une annulation. Les deux concerts prévus dans le New Jersey le 14 juin et dans le New Hampshire le lendemain, ont été annulés.   Eminem et 50 Cent font les prolongations en EUrope. Les deux musiciens, ajoutent un concert à Manchester.
