Toutes les news sur le Rock and Roll, c'est sur BabelRock   11/08/04 Rumeur sur le retour des Black Crowes Le groupe d'Atlanta, Black Crowes a été fondé en 1984 par les frères Chris et Rich Robinson. Il se sépara en janvier 2002 après 6 albums et de nombreuses tournées. Pete Angelus, manager du groupe a déclaré sur VH1.com : "I can confirm that recently, for the first time in three years, I have taken meetings with Chris and Rich Robinson. At this point in time, it would be premature for me to comment on the nature of those meetings or The Black Crowes reuniting." Les fans ont pu sentir un léger movement sur www.blackCrowes.com, le 4 juillet dernier, avec le changement de la HomePage du site. Rich Robinson avait déclaré en 2003 qu'il n'avait pas de plan de retour prévu pour le moment : "We don't have any plans to get back together and we don't have any plans not to get back together. Nothing has changed in the past year. I told [Chris], 'Make your solo record and make it completely solo... do it exactly how you want!' I think he really needed to do it. He had been talking about it since [1994's] "Amorica"." Chris Robinson avait quant à lui sorti son album solo "New Earth Mud", en octobre 2002 et Rich a annoncé la sortie de son album "Paper", pour la fin de l'année. Bref, Retour ou pas, cette rumeur sera probablement confortée ou inhibée dans les semaines à venir...   REM débutera sa tournée internationale aux States Le groupe, REM a dévoilé l'itinéraire Nord Américain, première tranche de sa tournée internationale. Cette virée fera la promotion du dernier album de REM, "Around The Sun", prévu le 4 octobre. REM participe aussi à la tournée "Vote For Change", aux cotés de Bruce Springsteen et Bright Eyes. La VHS de "Unledded" avait atteint la 4ème place des "Billboard's Top Music Video charts". Il a déclaré : "I'm so f---ing proud of this thing" et Steve Vai a ajouté : "John 5 is an underrated guitar Giant. It's rare to hear a musician fuse various styles and create a unique blend and brand all his own. It takes balls but that's what's needed to be truly original."
