Massacre à la tronçonneuse : deuxième opus en projet
Le remake du célèbre film que...






...réalisa Tobe Hooper en 1974). Le film de Marcus Nispel, bien que n'ayant pas le même impacte que celui de maître Hooper, a remporté un certain succès, à tel point que les producteurs ont décidé de donner une suite au film.


Ce coup-ci le Tronçonneur se mesurera à une troupe de soldats ! Le scénario sera signé Sheldon Turner ("The Longest Yard") et le film sera distribué aux States par "New Line".

"Simmons Audio Visual/New Millennium/Sanctuary Records" a annoncé la sortie d'un DVD (et CD) de "GENE SIMMONS' SPEAKING IN TONGUES". Cette nouveauté est prevue le 10 août prochain.
Des images rares de la Rock Star, dont certaines privées, à son domicile, en famille,...

En bonus 10 chansons totalement inédites, enregistrées par Gene Simmons entre les années 70 et 90.
 
Ronstadt : un retour à Vegas ?

Linda Ronstadt est en négociation avec la "Recording Artists Coalition" (RAC) et les nouveaux propriétaire du "Alladin Theater" de Las Vegas.


Un retour sur scène qui pourra se faire le 1 septembre. L'artiste sera annoncée par le réalisateur Michael Moore.

Les Pogues se réunissent en décembre
Ils n'étaient pas monté sur scène ensemble depuis 2001.









Selon le site officiel du leader du groupe, Shane MacGowan, une tournée est prévue en décembre, avec un arrêt à Newcastle, Birmingham, Manchester et Dublin.


Les Pogues ont cartonné en 1987 avec l'album "If I Should Fall From Grace With God". MacGowan avait quitté le groupe en 1991.


Le dernier album enregistré par les Pogues en studio, "Pogue Mahone", date de 1995.

Quant à MacGowan, son dernier album "Across the Broad Atlantic: Live On Paddy's Day", enregistré avec le groupe Popes, date de 2000.

Guns N' Roses, Steven Adler sortira une autobiographie, couvrant la période de 12 ans à aujourd'hui.


Le livre contient quelques informations relativement "trash" sur les membres des Guns.

Placebo prépare une compile

Placebo sortira un "Best Of" à l'automne.


Après 4 albums, Placebo sort la compilation "Once More With Feeling", le 18 octobre, sous la label "Virgin Record".


Cet nouvel album sera compose des hits presents sur les 4 albums "Placebo", "Without You I'm Nothing", "Black Market Music" et "Sleeping With Ghosts", mais aussi une nouvelle chanson. Le bonus qui tentera les fans.


Un single est aussi prévu le 4 octobre.

Rhino : un Giga coffret pour les fans des années 80
Une période fertile en hit et en bon vieux Rock And n' Roll









"Left of the Dial: Dispatches From the '80s Underground" est le titre de ce coffret. Cadeau magique que les jeunes (ceux qui n'ont pas connu la grande époque), se doivent de posséder. Abandonner un instant le rap, la house, le R&B (d'aujourd'hui) ou encore pire la techno, pour écouter ce qu'il y a de meilleur... Bon il faudra quand même attendre le 5 octobre, ce coffret de 82 chansons, le travail de groupes américains et australiens et débourser environ 65 $.
