Sortie annoncée pour avril.   Nickelback & Staind sont sur les routes Alors que le groupe Nickelback débute une tournée Canadienne pour la promotion de son album "The Long Road", sorti en 2003, Staind s'apprête a faire des apparitions sur scène. Jon Wysocki batteur de Staind a déclaré : "We played a couple of shows recently in California and Washington, but we haven't really done anything to get ready for the upcoming tour." Nickelback sera aussi supporté par les groupes Trapt, Thornley et The Trews.   Lollapalooza 2004 Perry Farrell leader du groupe... ...Jane's Addiction participera à cet évènement, qui qse déroulera entre juillet et août. L'année dernière Lollapalooza avait rapporté quelques 13,7 millions de $, pour 25 shows. Au programme de cette année Jane's Addiction, Queens Of The Stone Age, Incubus, Audioslave, the Donnas ou encore A Perfect Circle.   No Doubt / Blink 182 : tournée confirmée Selon le site... ...www.NDIFC.com, Blink 182 et No Doubt prendraient la route ensemble en juin. Une tournée américaine confirmée, pas de virée internationale pour le moment.   Les White Stripes annoncent la sortie d'un nouveau single. "THERE'S NO HOME FOR YOU HERE", sera le titre du prochain single de White Stripes. Cette chanson sortira sur un vinyl de 7" le 15 mars. Le single sera accompagné d'une version inédite de "Elephant" et "Ball And Biscuit", enregistrées dans les studio "Electric Lady" à New York. Le groupe de Détroit est actuellement en tournée en Angleterre (voir archives). Cette tournée fera l'objet d'un DVD live.   Nouveau chanteur chez Drowning Pool Le groupe de Hard Rock, Drowning Pool a dévoilé en Jason "Gong" Jones, le nom de son nouveau leader. Il remplace Dave Williams, décédé brutalement pendant la "Ozzfest tour" 2002. Le groupe sortira son nouvel album "Desensitized", le 20 avril chez "Wind-Up". Cet album fera suite à "Sinner" sorti en 2001, vendu à plus de 1,2 millions d'exemplaires aux States. C.J. Pierce, guitariste de Drowning Pool a déclaré : "We are extremely excited about working with Jason, and recording all of the material for the next record." "Our fans will definitely not be disappointed." a ajouté le bassiste Stevie Benton. Quant à Jones il a déclaré : "Gong has a voice and a personality unlike any other. Obviously it is a dream come true to get to play with such a great band and an even better bunch of guys." L'album "Desensitized" sera précédé par le single "Step Up" présent dans la B.O du film de Wind-Up "The Punisher" (Thomas Jane, John Travolta, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos). Le groupe fera une tournée promotionnelle en mai.   Cave-In travaille en studio sur son prochain album Le groupe, Cave-In sortira cette nouveauté le mois prochain. Il a déclaré : "We have been working hard at writing new tunes, and we're happy to inform you that we have a total of seven brand new songs, as of this posting. For less than a month's time back at work in our rehearsal space, this is a record feat for us. The new stuff is sounding really good and a bit different. So far, we have made some raw 4-track recordings of the stuff and we hope to "properly" demo them sometime next month in a studio, if time and money permits."
