Le musicien s'est adressé à ses fans sur le site www.eattheday.com : "I've been working with Danny Lohner on four songs for the movie UNDERWORLD. That soundtrack may really turn out to be a great album, and I've seen the film about 10 times and I really like it. I'm working with The Crystal Method a little as well, and that's been a different experience. Also, Richard Patrick from Filter and I wrote a song together, and that will be coming out soon, maybe on the Tomb Raider soundtrack. So life is good. We're busy. Lots of projects in the works." Lara Croft Tomb Raider: the Cradle of Life,sera sur les écrans des salles de cinéma américaines, le 25 juillet. La BO sera disponible le 22 juillet. Underworld est prévu pour le 19 septembre.   Quiet Riot sort son tout premier DVD live Le groupe de metal vétéran, Quiet Riot sortira ce support le 1er juillet. Un double DVD intitulé "Quiet Riot Live", qui sera commercialisé chez "21st Century: 20 Years of Metal Health" et qui sera accompagné de CD audio live. En bonus une version spéciale de "Thunderbird" et des images "behind-the-scenes footage", avec le guitariste Randy Rhoads (Ozzy Osbourne), un documentaire sur l'histoire du groupe et un video-clip des singles "Metal Health" et "Thunderbird".   Alien Ant Farm est prêt à reprendre la route Le groupe de metal, Alien Ant Farm, prépare sa prochaine tournée. La précédente tournée européenne ayant été brutalement interrompue, à l suite d'un accident de bus, survenu en Espagne (voir archives). Une virée Nord Américaine, qui débutera de Las Vegas, le 5 juillet et se terminera le 3 août, à Houston. Le groupe a prévu un passage par l'Europe, pendant le festival Reading & Leeds. Le leader du groupe, Mitchell, grièvement blessé au cours de l'accident, a déclaré : "When I stepped onto their bus, I had this really gnarly, uneasy feeling and I had to leave. I rarely think about the night of the accident, but when I do, everything comes back so vividly. I know I'll get over it once we actually start the tour, though. And I don't have much choice. We really want to be on the road. What am I gonna do -- follow the bus around in my car?" Les autres members de la troupe, le guitariste Terry Corso, le bassiste Tye Zamora et la batteur Mike Cosgrove, ont été moins sérieusement touché. Mitchel a ajouté : "I broke my neck, and some days it's really hard. I may have to try twice as hard to be on top of my game onstage, but if that's what I have to do, I'm gonna do it. I have no plans to slow down." Le nouvel album de Alien Ant Farm, "truANT," sera dans les bacs le 19 août, chez DreamWorks et a été produit par Robert & Dean DeLeo de Stone Temple Pilots. Il a déclaré : "I don't know hardly what to say tonight about being up here without her. The pain is so severe there is no way of describing it. It's the biggest... losing your mate. I guarantee it is the big one. It really hurts." June a été emportée par la faucheuse, le 15 mai dernier, à l'âge de 73 ans, des suites d'une intervention chirurgicale du cœur. Selon le Kingsport Tennessee Times-News, Cash a reçu une standing ovation, après chacune des chansons interprétées, dont "Folsom Prison Blues" , "Ring Of Fire" et "I Walk the Line'". Il a déclaré à ses fans : "a healing thing to come back here to this wonderful place with you," and that June had loved the valley and all the people. "I wish I could share it more, how we felt about each other."   Evanescence, Cold, Finger Eleven sont de la ''Nintendo…the tour'' Le groupe, Evanescence sera tête de file de la prochaine "Nintendo Fusion Tour", qui débute de Los Angeles, le 4 août. Une virée de quelques 25concerts, qui se terminera en septembre. Le groupe passera par Phoenix, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Chicago, et Detroit. Le "Party Hard" rocker, Andrew W.K., sort un nouvel album intitulé The Wolf, chez Island/Def Jam Records, le 9 septembre prochain. Cet album sera composé de 12 chansons, dont le titre "Never Let Down", qui fera le premier single du groupe. Un double CD/DVD du single "Tear It Up", sera dans les bacs, le 15 juillet. Le CD sera complété par la chanson "Your Rules". Andrew W.K. est actuellement sur les routes, et sa "Vans Warped Tour", se terminera le 31 juillet à Boston.   Enuff Z'Nuff signe chez Perris Records Après une très courte collaboration, avec le label Spitfire Records, le groupe de Chicago, Enuff Z'Nuff a rejoint Perris Records. Le label produira l'album "Welcome to Blue Island", accompagné de quatre bonus tracks. Enuff Z'Nuff est actuellement en tournée avec Faster Pussycat et Pretty Boy Floyd.
