La vente est prévue chez Christies à New York en juillet. L'étudiant avait eu la chance de travaillé avec le musicien, pendant toute une journée. 12 heures d'images dont ont été extraites 45 minutes composant le film. Prix estimé : entre 45 000 $ et 50 000 $. Les acheteurs potentiels pourront voir le film avant la vente aux enchères. Margaret Berret, spécialiste du cinéma, a déclaré à la BBC, que le film était amusant : "There are no copies of it and John Lennon himself never got a copy of the entire film. He watched it and selected pieces he liked, perhaps for a song video."   BO du film The Matrix: Reloaded Le très attendu deuxième opus, "The Matrix: Reloaded", sera sur nos écrans mercredi prochain. La B.O du film a été composée par de nombreux musiciens, dont Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Rob Dougan, Deftones, Team Sleep, P.O.D., Ünloco, Rage Against the Machine, Oakenfold, Fluke, Don Davis ou encore Juno Reactor. Un premier single, composé par POD et intitulé "Sleeping Awake", entrera dans les charts, la semaine prochaine. On retrouvera aussi sur le double CD, une composition instrumentale de Linkin Park, intitulée "Session", figurant sur le dernier album du groupe, "Meteora". Le thème du film "Furious Angels" a été écrit par Rob Dougan.   Limp Bizkit confirme une série de concerts gratuits en Europe Le groupe qui a annulé ses 5 prochains concerts... ...en Europe, a rassuré ses fans en annonçant une série de concert pour l'automne prochain. Fred Durst, leader de Limp Bizkit, a déclaré : "We hate to disappoint any of our fans, so we want to come back to Europe as soon as we can. The fans in Europe have been so good to us we want to give them something back. We feel like it's a real band sound now, and we owe it to the fans to make this the best album we can." Le groupe a passé 4 semaines sur son prochain album "Panty Sniffer", don't la date de sortie n'est pas disponible pour le moment.   Santana prépare la promotion de son dernier album Le chanteur prendra la route, à partir de 17 mai. Il passera une grande partie des mois de juin & juillet sur les routes nord américaines. Son album "Shaman", est sorti chez Arista en novembre dernier et a atteint la première place du Billboard 200. Cette reprise sortira sur un CD Bside, accompagné de deux "bonus track", "The Prettiest Star", reprise enregistrée par David Bowie en 1973 et figurant sur l'album "Aladdin Sane", et "Arthur (Prague)". McCulloch retournera en Angleterre cet été. Il fera une apparition, avec le groupe au Echo and The Bunnymen, pendant les festivals de Glastonbury, T In The Park, et V.   John Entwistle et sa guitare Frankenstein La célèbre fender, du légendaire bassiste des Who, a été vendue aux enchères, pour environ 62 400 £. Cet objet faisait partie d'un lot d'instruments ayant appartenu à de nombreuses célèbrités, de disques d'or et autres objets. Entwistle disparu l'année dernière, suite à une overdose de cocaïne, avait amassé de nombreux objets, pendant sa longue carrière musicale. Entwistle avait déclaré : "The neck, pickups and circuitry are from a 'dead' slab bass, the tailpiece from a Jazz bass, the pickguard from a black P bass and the machine heads from 2 white P basses... Two hours with a Phillips screwdriver and a soldering iron and I was ranting around my hotel room screaming, "It's alive, it's alive!" Parmi les autres objets échangés pendant cette vente, une guitare Gibson Flying V (38 400 £), une Gibson Explorer (95 200 £), des dessins d'amis du guitariste, tels que Bill Wyman des Rolling Stone, Jimi Hendrix et Eric Clapton. La totalité des objets ayant appartenu John Entwistle a été vendu, contre 1 093 372 £.
